Paul has spent 15 years exploring the limits of human performance in many different ways.

He brings a combination of academic qualifications and rich life experience to the work he does with his clients. Paul has an in-depth understanding and passion for the role that mindset, resilience and energy management play in optimal performance in business and in life.

As a performance coach and facilitator, Paul draws on his corporate experience, training as a professional coach and study of psychology when working with his clients. Recent clients include organisations such as EY, Mazars, Riot Games, Cisco, BNYM, Mastercard and World Rugby.


When it comes to his own professional and personal performance, Paul hasn’t held back. He has rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, cycled across Australia and has also rowed 1,900km through the North West Passage in the Canadian Arctic. Author of the book “Crossing the Swell”, Paul was honoured by his hometown as Limerick Person of the Year in 2006.

Paul also delivers team coaching on the Trinity College Dublin MBA programme. He is qualified and licenced to use Strengthscope Performance Tools which, are based on Positive Psychology. Paul is also qualified to assess and coach emotional intelligence development with EQI 2.0 psychometric system.
