My name is Sherry and I am an RYT 500 hour certified Yoga teacher. As a science graduate with a Degree in Anatomy & Physiology and a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science I always had a fascination with biomechanics and how the human body works physically. I have been practicing Yoga for over 8 years mainly for physical benefits at first but on a trip to Indian 4 years ago my eyes were opened to the powerful mental and spiritual benefits yoga could have on my life.

As Yoga continued to grow in my life I ventured into full time teaching in 2016 leaving my corporate job to pursue my true passion. After discovering Ashtanga Vinyasa style, I craved a deeper understanding of this practice and travelled to Indian to complete another teacher training and deepen my practice.

My approach to Yoga is to incorporate a dynamic, grounded and nurturing style of teaching. My practice focuses on building strength and flexibility whilst creating a meditative flow through asana with emphasis on breath and alignment.

A firm believer in practicing what I teach, I continue to seek the advice of great teachers to expand my knowledge, deepen my own practice and pass this on to others. I believe in exploring life and using yoga as a means of re-connecting to the truth present within us all.

My classes are designed to offer a space for exploration and connection with the body, mind and soul. Allowing the student to build their intuition and trust what they discover as they listen to their bodies. A space to explore, discover, and return. I teach from the heart within a warm and compassionate space sharing my personal experiences and passion for movement and mindfulness. I believe Yoga and Meditation should be accessible to everybody and my aim is to support you live a mindful life, with clarity calm and ease.
